INGREDIENTS
FOR DARK CHOCOLATE FOOTBALL PRETZEL RODS
  • 1/2 bag of pretzel rods
  • 1 and 1/2 cups dark chocolate melting wafers
  • 1 and 1/2 tablespoons paramount crystals
FOR WHITE CHOCOLATE FOOTBALL SPRINKLE RODS
  • 1/2 bag of pretzel rods
  • 1 and 1/2 cups white chocolate melting wafers

INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Line baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
  2. In a microwave safe bowl, add dark chocolate wafers and paramount crystals. Microwave on medium heat for 30 seconds. Remove and stir slowly. Replace in microwave for 15 second increments until chocolate is completely melted.
  3. Pour chocolate into a tall, narrow glass. Dip two-thirds of each pretzel rod into chocolate and lightly shake to remove excess chocolate; transfer to parchment paper until chocolate hardens.
  4. In a microwave safe bowl, add white chocolate wafers and paramount crystals. Microwave on medium heat for 30 seconds. Remove and stir slowly. Replace in microwave for 15 second increments until chocolate is completely melted.
  5. Pour white chocolate into a tall, narrow glass. Dip two-thirds of each pretzel rod into chocolate and lightly shake to remove excess chocolate; sprinkle with team colored sprinkles. Place on prepared parchment paper until chocolate hardens.
  6. Pour left over melted white chocolate into a decorating bag or sandwich bag and snip the corner off. Pipe white chocolate football stitches onto dark chocolate dipped pretzel rods. Let pretzels stand until set. Eat & Enjoy!
NOTES
Chocolate Football Pretzel Rods should be stored in an airtight container and will keep for up to 1 month.
Optional: Paramount crystals help keep chocolate shiny and smooth, as well as alleviate sugar bloom and fat bloom. You do not need them, but they are recommended.
